A decline in modeling standards?

No offence to Ms. Sayle, I am sure she's a great gal, but modelling isn't really her thing. While glancing through Cricinfo's pictures database, I came across a picture of Alastair Cook posing to raise money for a charity. Perfectly honorable! But the picture description reads

"How's that? Alastair Cook poses with model Emma Sayle for a sports calendar to raise funds for the CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund, Chelmsford, Essex, May 10, 2007"
Here is the picture..This chick is a model? Hmm, lets ignore the yellow color for now, but what is that pouch around her, you know..? Plus she is holding the bat the wrong way. Anyway, I'm not hating on you, Ms. Sayle. Just suggesting an alternate lifestyle...and career.

Alastair Cook, on the other hand, never ceases to disappoint us...

I'm really loving the India v. Bangladesh revenge tour. I was looking for a place to watch it online (I live in the US, no cricket on TV here) and I found this great website. Not only live streamed cricket, but chat and stats too. Take a look:

India v. Bangladesh Tour is available as LIVE Video and Video On Demand
on broadband at MediaZone Cricket: http://cricket.mediazone.com
MediaZone Cricket is a new broadband service with LIVE cricket, chat and
news. Check it out!

Ms Sayle isn't just a random model brought in to add some spice to a picture of Alastair Cook. This photoshoot was for a calendar initiated and produced by the Sisterhood Challenge (www.sisterhoodchallenge.com), a group (of which Emma is a member) who undertake charity fundraising challenges. Their next challenge is to dragon-boat across the Channel - Omar, I think you owe them a donation!

also that is not a pouch around her, it is her underwear, she is not wearing that yellow outfit she is infact naked and that outfit has been painted on her... for obvious reasons she is wearing just her underwear. your being harsh with your comments aswell as she doesnt claim to be a model, the person who has tagged it has described her as that as he didnt know her name.

Ah - Didn't know she was a model. I should have known when I tried to google her name and nothing came up. Well, my mistake.

Thanks for pointing it out Mr. Anonymous. I wrote in my post, that her aim was perfectly honorable, so I do not feel the need to contribute to her charity because of this mistake.

I do, however, donate to other charities and causes.

Plus, this blog is meant to be amusing and a bit of a satire. I doubt Ms. Sayle will be reading my blog, but if she is, I apologize to her.
